Some good points raised here and judging by the story in yesterday's Courier Broon is feeling the pressure. Speaking to one of the back room managers at the club and my anger was stoked even more when it was confirmed that the players, management, board and all the other hangerson were not having to pay for their trip to Swizerland as it was all covered by the fans going on the charter. Had everyone paid the true cost would be about £250 each not £700 ffs!!! There is no Feelgood factor in Perth anymore as due to the ridiculously poor pr it has been forgotten in the wake of school holidays and we will be lucky if we get 5k for the home leg in a couple of weeks! There are stories coming out about season tickets being sent back already as folk are fed up with the way the club is ripping fans off and as for the new pricing structure.... Who thought that out?? And making the Europa home match all ticket will deter anyone wavering about whether to go as they cannot just turn up on the night. Yes, that applies to me too as I am not sure if I will get home from work (in the Borders) in time so I will not pay up front in case I don't. Rant over but Broon needs to sit down with his pals and have a good think about his club as it is not the fans club any more

Am I missing something here? We have played 3 games at home this year and the pitch looks worse than it did after being frozen last year? Heard a couple of the journalists behind me commenting on how shocking it was. Does the groundsman cut it short for a reason? Most of the other clubs leave the grass about an inch or so long but we have got something that would not look out of place in a neuclear war movie. The players cannot play on that type of surface (as they appear to be showing) so come on groundsman, let the grass grow under your feet and let us see some greenery on that beach.

Just been told by two workmates that we will be playing Rangers on Tuesday 5th April and Celtic on Tuesday 12th April both 6PM kick aff

Lord Brown had a pitch with undersoil heating installed which is too high to the grass and not enough sand underneath to drain the water away!! It was a cheap option, which has now come back to bute us even worse than ex-players have done!! I have always been behind GB but now think his earlier penny-pinching has really hurt the club. Any thoughts?

You some sort of apologist for him? It is actually hard to miss what he says as he is on virtually every thread slagging the team and manager off. And folk wonder why so many of the original posters have left the forum.... To put it on track, I would like to have Doobs staying at Saints, he has provided a much needed block at the back of the defence and I actually think he gives the back four more choice. All we need to do is work with him to take his ideas and experience forward. He has tried very hard to keep a straight line at the back and, when it works, the offside trap springs pretty well. Just a case of letting him build up a defensive unit.

Yes but they are not SPL games are they? We are 5 points ahead of Hamilton, if we stretch that then I do not see a problem with letting Jacko get a half, maybe even Reynolds but he had suffered when he has been on this season as it is a big step up for him but wold give him the chance to see what it is like.
