Kilgour
I do believe Wetherspoons are about to launch a "Cider Festival" That will do nicely ! Starts on Wed. Choice of 16 ciders all at £2.20 (in Leith anyway) ALERT ! ALERT ! was meeting my mate in Edinburgh southside and came across a bar called @32 Potterow not unnaturally in Potterow and ordered a cider.NO draught but a bottle of Thistly Cross (4.4 i.e. the weak one ) was £5.75.Having already started it before I knew the price I just drank it told them their pub was shite and walked out.Only on the way out I noticed I was their only customer. HOODLUM65
Feeling patriotic ? Give "Thistly Cross" from Dunbar a bash. You wont be disappointed and at 7.4% you wont be sober ! Other faves at the moment on draught round here...Symonds,Aspalls and Stowford Press. Old Rosie is dynamite but I canny whack more than a few pints. HOODLUM65
The owner of Thistly was interviewed on the news programme regarding poor apple crop due to adverse weather conditions. Methinks a price rise could be on way.
