HOODLUM65 Posted December 24, 2015 Report Share Posted December 24, 2015 Always wanted to pay a visit to the Post Box at the corner of George St. and Charlotte St. and today was the day for a pre xmas lunch.Avoided the traditional xmas menu (will be seeing a lot of that kind of food over the next few days.)Had a three courser, and must say my expectations were more than fulfilled.The quality of the food and the presentation was excellent.Staff attendant and cheery.All in all a very pleasant experience, which I thoroughly enjoyed, as did the others in the party.Nicely washed down by draught Ossian (from the Inveralmond brewery) and Woolloomooloo shiraz from NSW.A wee trip to Greyfriars pub and the Tavern made for a braw day oot.Merry xmas friends, Romans and countrymen.
