whose the Norwegian?

My bad. Was thinking Lovenkrands was Norwegian.

Did we not have some Scandinavian striked over for a while during Sturrocks time who might have been Norwegian? Not Fyhr

Ukraine wasn't recognised until the early mid nineties.

Not strictly accurate 101, as Ukraine was a member of the USSR from 1922 to 1991 and before that was a country in its own right. My mother was an Estonian refugee and loved to impart a bit of history from the area.

I remember at the time of the break-up, I wasspeaking to Serg jnr and he asked me whether he should classify himself as Russian or Ukrainian. I spent a long time waffling before saying... Scottish!

always mystified by momo sylla, think he was born in guinea, moved and and rasied in france father from ivory coast but played for guinea. Can anyone confirm?

yes he was born in cote d ivoire but brought up in paris france played for guinea...think because his mum was guinean...theres another momo sylla who played for ayr around the same time
