Away Form - Cause For Concern?

Motherwell's front men pressed hard on our back four in that game. With our midfield not being up for it, and no Cregg in front of the back four, the ball was getting punted up to Stevie, who'd need a trampoline to beat either of their CBs, and we ended up with them in possession most of the game. We need to fix that - there's more than one way to do it - but I just fear that some of our defenders (Wright and Scobbie) might no have the skills to hold the ball up and look for an intelligent pass, even if one's available to them.

Scobbie, when he has played at centre half, has always been totally composed and rarely played a misplaced pass or put the team in trouble through a bad touch from that position

Bumping this,

 

7 goals scored in 13 away games is pretty awful. Worse that the season wehardly scored. Lucky were good at home.

 

Hope we can start to turn this around.

 

Away cup form on the other hand is very good.

Initially I didn't think it was too much of a problem,especially when including domestic cup/euro wins. But the away league form has been really poor.

Its strange when you consider how strong Saints have been at home. It can only be away tactics or attitude.
