slf
Are they? What a ghost town Perth is becoming. Pretty soon there'll be nothing left but hairdressers, banks, bakers and those awful "superpubs". Still, at least Scotland's ugliest building, Perth City Hall, will still be there. leave our city hall out of it the church at the top of the high street will fall down before the hall. blueheaven
leave our city hall out of it the church at the top of the high street will fall down before the hall. I'm well aware that the monstrosity that is the city hall isn't going to fall any time soon, more's the pity.

Burghsaintee
I notice in the PA that PKL can save Cherrybank Gardens, but could not do anything about the Healthworks. Heather and plants must be more important:rolleyes:
Steve Maskrey
What course are you doing Dave? A few groups are interested in Healthworks including a Women's only gym

Steve Maskrey
Energie (Women's only gym) seem pretty confident as they're looking for someone to take on the franchise. Managed right, that person could make a fortune
Jings
Women only nights, fair enough, but women only full time. Get tae f**k and give us our gym back ya sexist chunts:evil:
Steve Maskrey
Curves are the sole female only gym in Perth. Enough room for competition for them. To be honest the type of exercise they provide, no male would ever want to join. I'm not sure who the other applicants to take over the place are. I doubt there would be many wanting to open another gym facility similar to what was there with Healthworks. The price they would need to charge wouldn't attract many people away from the PKL facilities, Bannatynes or Body Academy
Jings
Flogged last week for a mere £350.000:shock: Be interesting to see if they sit on the property until better days, or seriously have a pop at re-opening. http://www.sva-auctions.co.uk/html/results.html
