perth_saintee12
According to a report on Sky Sports News, Man City are preparing a possible bid for Kaka for around 175m!! And offering him wages round about 500,000 per week! Your thoughts?
Scobby_SJFC
Cant see him leaving, hes a trophy man and would not play to play for a bottom half team who will not be in Europe next season I hope he tells them where to shove their money, so we can see him at the top level

MUZZ
why spend that on one player when the rest of the team is pish?? this will all end in tears at man city. i really hope he makes his debut on jan 31st at stoke because they will flatten him. no respect given. Barca-Saintee
would you go for a reported 500k a week? Maybe he will see sense and realise that the 100k a week he gets at the moment is enough for him to live well.
ancientsaint
why spend that on one player when the rest of the team is pish?? this will all end in tears at man city. Yeah -would have thought that he would have been the last one on the shopping list rather than the first.........clubs that man city have identified as being interested in one of their players will now expect higher million prices rather than lower for a player...... Amazing what a wee drop of OIL can bring in terms of Revenue.........wonder what would have happened had "Scotlands Oil" not been wasted elsewhere !!!! perth_saintee12
Kaka should stay where he is.
Steve Maskrey
the bid will have to be in euros so it might not be that high If its in Euros then Man City will have to pay more due to the difference in exchange rates. He's been offered £500k per week after tax. Milan aren't daft. While they're set to sell their best player, they can go and get 5 top players to replace him! Michael Ballack insisted on getting paid in Euros and since the pound decreased in value, he's now earning more!

Exactly Muzz, they could have got a number of decent players for this absurd sum. Robhino and Kaka, fine players, but will they attract other players to the foot of the Premiership? Craig Bellamy?................................yer havin a laff!!!!
bracoboy
Safely say that the huge fee is being offset by the massive kit deal that will be on the table. My money is on Adidas and it will be £50m +. Le Coq Sportif can't handle the demand if Kaka signs. One of the big guys will already have signed a deal with City dependent upon the signing of Kaka. Adidas have made their money on Kaka at Milan and on Beckham at Galaxy. Watch this space as the Beckham deal at Milan becomes permanent. £108m? They'll make it back very quickly.
