dundeh only brought the big crowd to saints hoping to see them stop the unbeating record.

Are you for real?

The unbeaten record can go on as far as I'm concerned.

Draw specialists. The unbeaten record is now proving a bit of a hindrance. St. Johnstone now go out to try and not lose, rather than win.

Well mate, I hope your theory is right! If we have been more scared of losing than, then the rest are stuffed now!

My favourite post on there is the guy who calls us "one of the most disorganised clubs in the whole of Scotland". I think the well-known phrase involving pots and kettles could well have been invented for this precise moment.

SaintJ Post on the dundee forum has been replied to by their General Manager and reads as follows;

Sorry! Can't let this go! Last St Johnstone game at Dens there were 5 turnstiles open. Yes, there were problems getting everyone in before kick off for reasons which were documented at the time. I am not entering into this debate but i can't allow statements like this to go unanswered!

now is it me or does he just contradict himself? He is not willing to enter debate but cant allow it to go answered?

He is contradicting himself. And it is all very well saying that there were five turnstiles open, when the last two or three opened five minutes before kick off when there were several hundred fans standing outside who had been waiting a long, long time to get in.

It is like Saints saying "well we had three stands open for Dundee fans on Saturday." Yeah, that's true, but not until it was too late.

I left home earlier than usual on Saturday despite living very close to the ground because I knew it'd take a bit longer to get in. It's all well and good Dundee fans claiming they were told to arrive early, and a lot of them doing so but it's blatantly obvious that a similar number didn't bother and the problems escalated from these people turning up just before kick off. It stands to reason that if every Dundee fan had taken the advice of their club issued prior to the game, the need for the Ormond Stand to be opened would've been realised sooner. Dundee fans are every bit to blame as Saints for this fiasco.

Is this dude telling the truth?

I seem to remember just 2 long queue's going down to the rd? and this was 10 mins before kick off.

Were all the turnstyles open in the north on sat?

Well I'm not entering this debate either... but...

Yeah I smell bullsh*t, 541ntees. I was queuing until well after kickoff & there were only 2 turnstiles open with lines back to the road. There may have been a concessions only one open too but there was nobody queuing at it. Then about 10 past they opened at least another 1. Very annoying at the time but it hasn't ruined my life

It wouldn't even be worth mentioning but to highlight the hypocrisy streaming westwards

In all fairness, I drove the bypass at 1410 and the queues at both slips were enormous. I'm sure a few Coags were caught out and I do have some symapthy for them. I'm supposed to be working until 1400 on the

25th April. Normally I would be content to leave at 1400 but there is no chance of that being acceptable so I'll be leaving earlier.

Having said that, I'd be aurprised if the Kingsway is queued at 1400 but I will aim to be there before 1400 just to be safe, this decision has been made on the strength of last Saturday.

Soon, very soon my unwashed coagie fellow forumer:wink:

The last game at dens was your best following there for years,so if the game is a vital one I would expect you to fill it,it only holds around 2800 anyway.I would think you would get some of the main stand my dirty smelly farmer friend.
