SaintDougie
Quite a distance to travel, although it could be worth it when you consider they have never won at home. Anyone getting the train through or driving? If so what are trains like to Paisley from Edinburgh, Change in Glasgow or what?
Nelly78
I'm definitely going, but I'll be driving through on the Friday night and not coming back until the Sunday. Nikki's away all day on the Saturday until about 11pm, so I've got free reign of her flat in Paisley all day. If you're going to a pub somewhere in Paisley let me know and I'm sure I can be persuaded to have a couple of pints.
geoff was right!!
Not sure if I can be bothered with the trains, it'll take about 2 hours by the time you change at Glasgow so i'll probably drive through which should only be about 45 mins. Chansey
Again I'll be driving from East Lothian, and will likely have to be back in Dalkeith for 8 as will be working. If this fits in with anyone plans, would be happy to organise lifts, as will have 3/4 spaces in the car.

geoff was right!!
I'm taking the car as well, anyone know of any pubs close by for pint before the game?
Thomas_sjfc
The cottage in mossvale lane is the closest pub as far as i can tell. Around a 10 minute walk from the ground.
Nelly78
I'm pretty sure the Cottage was the pub they used to film the pub scenes in Chewing the Fat. Bit of a dump, but there's absolutely nothing around the new ground. Except for Feegie Park and a half falling down industrial estate. Might be worth going to a pub in the town centre - only a 10-15 min walk from the ground - but The Cottage would be easier for parking probably. Although, from a purely selfish point of view, going to The Cottage means I'll have to walk straight past the ground to get there, which would piss me off a bit! Although there really are feck all good pubs in Paisley.
