  1. I can confirm that all of the above is putting 2 and 2 together and getting 5. Not remotely true.

  2. Pretty much agree with all of that. Assume Gordon will stay and I'd like to see McGowan get another year (but would expect him to start fewer games next season). But even if McClelland and Olufunwa really step up, we're going to need at least one CB and one LB. The other priority has to be some width for the midfield. DJ seems to be coming to the end of his contract at Charlton - would we offer him something? Personally I'm not sure he's done enough, but he was starting to look good when played in his more natural position just before he got injured. Hopefully we give Taylor Steven a new contract, but will we look to send him back out on another loan? I can see Drey Wright getting some sort of short-term deal to prove himself if he doesn't play much between now and the end of the season. I don't think another striker will be high up the list of needs, given Sidibeh, Kimpioka, Clark and May are all signed up for next season. I think we'll see Considine, Brown, Booth, Gallacher, MacPherson, Crawford, Carey, Ballantyne and Kane all being released, along with Phillips who we know wants to go. A few of our bigger earners amongst that lot so hopefully that'll free up a good bit of budget to have a smaller but better squad.

  3. The released list at the end of the season will be sexier than Lady Chatterley's Lover.

Training with Saints to improve his fitness. Good luck with that

  5. I would give Parker, McCrystal, Mylchreest and Steven contracts. They may not be regulars but decent squad players and not a huge drag on the budget. Would also offer Gallagher an extention.

If we can pick up another decent forward we would look pretty strong for next year up front. Would be happy to Keep Jais. Defense is another matter; Gordon will be offered another contract and I think McGown might get a year offer too. Sam McClelland has been making good progress at the Terrors so I think he'll be part of the defense next year. Got to think Levein will use his budget, whatever that is on this part of the team. Sprangler, the Smith duo and Max in midfield with some new additions. To save Ric having a melt down - I think Cammy McPherson will be away - ( needless huge fee paid to St.Mirren down the drain).

I doubt Sky would give a ****, to be honest. As you say, Old Firm away games - with some random game on every 6 months to show they care - from now until the end of time. Be stunned if it works out that simplistic.

  9. Danny Swanson was playing for a bit below the leagues, that didn't work out too bad, there are rough diamonds to be found, for various reasons some end up in these leagues, but most of the time a real punt to see if they can move up. In this case with Adama think he's the real deal.

  10. Might just be me, but I cant say that I have been overly impressed with Keltjens. He loses possession and seems to be caught out of position frequently without offering much going forward. I appreciate that he has just moved to a new country and playing in a new league, so it may take him some time to adapt. Sidibeh on the other hand is impressing more and more every week. He has provided our front line with a freshness and given his pace and constant effort, I don't think many defenders will enjoy coming up against him.
