If you watch TV coverage of various House of Commons' Select Committees grilling Beeb top management on their various balls ups you would see why. canuck_saint Posted March 25, 2015 Report Share Posted March 25, 2015 it was an alleged assault last week - despite what the red tops "report" You certainly cant sack someone just because one party makes an accusation - the beeb firstly suspended him, took about a week to investigate and gather evidence, then sacked him based on that. If they followed the letter off the Law Both parties should have been suspended without prejudice pending investigation by Senior Management. Unfortunately yes, that ensures consistency and fairness whilst the Investigation is completed, Personally I prefer a Balaclava and a baseball bat and give the Bastars what he deserves .
