Cagey
Excitement is rising. Don't think there will be many of the team that started on Thursday playing today. Looks like we may need to organise a few more friendlies to keep us ticking over til August.

Crossest Man In Scotland
Would it not make more sense to play a team from say Holland or Belgium who would likely have a similar style of play to what we would encounter in Europa League. Crossest Man In Scotland
Oh look we're playing Aberdeen again In the past 4 years we have played Aberdeen 16 times in the league, twice in League Cup, once in Scottish Cup plus summer friendly in 2015. The problem is who's available to come over to Scotland either on their first week back, or between European ties.

Subs: M Hurst, Shaughnessy, Watson, Alston, Craig, Wotherspoon, G Hurst, Cummins, Trialist. Trialist for Saints this afternoon could be former Blackburn forward Callum Hendry, son of former Scotland international Colin Hendry. RandomGuy
Wasn't there, but this is exactly the type of game the younger players should be played in. Aberdeen apparently had a strong line up out for an hour, so that experience will be invaluable. Games like this, and loans, are far better for them than just chucking them into high pressure games, which frankly isn't fair to the player it happens to. Cagey
Tanser & MacClean OK but not great. They will fill a space if we have a load of injuries but can't see them getting a regular game. Midge,Scougall & Muzz played OK but I can't see any of the rest get in the first team. Kerr & Gordan want to play the ball out but no good if you get caught in possession & pass the ball to decent striker. Both big centre half's but posted missing when Christie scored. Third looked like it should have been cleared.
