Well I managed to get the wee man to his first but hopefully not the last Saints playing in Europe game.
Went ok actually. When the opposition scored he started greeting (better get used to that son you are a Saints fan now) just before saints equalised he fell asleep and even managed to stay asleep during the goal celebrations. Half time came and he was still sleeping even through the pipe band going past.

He woke up and saw the scoreboard reading 1-2 and started greeting again. Managed to get to 70 odd mins and I decided he had seen enough for one evening. He was also needing a change. So back to the car put the radio on while I changed him and managed to get away before the full time traffic started.

Hope his next visit proves more successful with a saints win.

My wife and I had a baby just before Christmas so he is now just over 6 months old. I fancy taking him to his first Saints game next week but I am totally unsure as what would be the best way to do it?

So my question to you is, have you ever taken a young baby to the fitba? Which stand would be best ?(obviously we have a family stand)

Any experiences tips and advice would be greatly received.

Oh BTW the wee lad is called Niven. it means little Saint! (the Mrs didn't realize why I was so keen on the name haha)

    cheers in advance Jazz

If the North inch golf course can have an online system that lets you prebook and pay for a round of golf then surelyy a senior professional football club can run a webstore type site.

I seem to go through the same cycle every tournament with England. In the lead up I think that I wouldn't mind them doing alright (not win it) as I don't mind some of the players and the media have started off ok. A week before, I start to crack and the biased pundits etc come out, but I still don't want them to be humped. Then as soon as the opening credits start I'm done and by the time Clive Tildsley opens his gob, I'm hoping they are beat 10-0 and utter humiliated.
On the violence, they are just disgracing themselves and living up to stereotypes. Granted as usual it will be a small majority, but it half expected. The Russian fans obviously targeted them, but they knew they'd get a reaction.

I completely agree with chucking them both out.
I'm fully of the opinion that thousands of lads and men will have headed to France purely to get steaming and act like total yobs. The gradual decline of proper hooligan culture has led to kids that are little more than jumped up little yobs (like some former posters here) to consider themselves proper hooligans in the absence of the real deal to compare themselves against. So they go to France act the big men, throw chairs at police, think they're hard. Then Russian proper hooligans turn up and literally murder them.
I sometimes daydream about being able to painlessly euthanize said yobs with a click of the fingers, but even these bottle chuckers don't deserve to go to a footie tournament and not come back.

Congratulations to James Fleming and all the other Scotland 7s squad who won the London 7s on Sunday. They beat South Africa in the final and also beat England at Twickenham in the quarter finals.

James is a Perth boy who was educated at Perth High School. He is a product of the Perthshire rfc youth development set up and also played senior rugby for Perthshire 1XV before moving onto better things.

He played really well in the final scoring a magnificent try (25 mins 20 secs on the YouTube clip). It's worth watching the clip to the end of the game if you want to see a never say die attitude.
James is a modest guy who just gets on with the job in hand with little drama. Best of all he is a Saintee as well!

    Well done James!
