We hAve been well in control of this game. Apart from 5 minute spells after they have scored they have brought nothing to this game.
Hard to believe we are 2 down and dominating the game.

Thought we should have won given their goal was offside and were lucky not to be down to 10 men. Our passing was so sloppy 1 minute then absolutely terrific the next minute.
 
Good point so long as we don't throw it away against Georgia and Poland.

I think we have to accept that many clubs (possibly including Saints) would never have voted against Rangers being admitted to the SPL were it not for the huge groundswell of outrage from supporters. Us fans effectively forced our clubs into doing the right thing (which is something we should all feel very proud of).

Still...

In season 2011/12 (Rangers' last in existence), Saints' average attendance was 4,170. Last season (with no Rangers) it was 4,592. And that doesn't include the European matches which would push our average even higher. Since our promotion to the Premier League, none of our home games against Rangers have managed crowds of over 7,000. Only the European games have brought those seriously big crowds. In effect, the loss of two home European games per season would be a significantly bigger blow to our annual gate receipts than the loss of two home Rangers games per season (and the current league format would only guarantee us one home Rangers game per season anyway).

So it doesn't necessarily add up that Rangers in the league equals more people through the gates. The only thing that is truly proven to bring people through the gates is a successful Saints team. Put a strong Rangers back into the Premier League for the last three seasons and we would have finished lower down each season so would have less prize money, no annual European qualification, and possibly even no Scottish Cup win. Which means no boost in crowds and none of the accompanying rise in shirt sales etc. So I truly struggle to see why there would be extra revenue for Saints if Rangers were in the top flight. The only possible argument I can think of is that there may be more TV and sponsorship money to go around - but wouldn't Rangers themselves keep a lot of that money and use it to keep Saints (and everyone else) from attaining the success that we ourselves need to attract bigger crowds?

I think he should resign. He wasted £1m plus on an investigation that shouldn't have happened and blatantly lied through his teeth. It was an international political smear on Nicola Sturgeon.
 
I doubt he would have been elected if the truth was out before voting, think that would have swung the ~800 majority in the SNP favour.

I'm not surprised to be honest.

GMac was offered an improved 5 year contract but as Tommy passed it across the table he let it run across him and it slid off the table and into the bin.

Best of luck to him, but he and saints weren't a good match imo. Hope it means more game time for Caddis and Brown.

Undersoil heating was on. I believe the area affected was left frozen as a result of Rado's big head stopping the sun shining on it this morning. That and not being able to cope with compacted ground where Jackie keepings throwing his toys.

And despite all of that I can still see him and SLabour getting a decent amount of votes come the election, sadly.

I'm going to say 'no', but that would probably just encourage him.

Especially when you give them a goal head start too

Perhaps, but I'm not really talking to him. I occasionally challenge his views because otherwise a casual visitor to this site might read some of his vitriol and assume it was representative.
