Fair enough, if you feel that you haven't had sufficient information to let you decide what is best. The Scottish Govt has tried to put as much info out there and my experience of Yes Scotland groups is that they will try to address concerns and find relevant info for undecided voters. Your above quote suggested that you doubted the truth in any of the answers that you have received in the past.

Apologies if I picked it up wrong.

Im pretty impressed with our opinion poll.

Its good to see that people are engaging in good honest political debate and are prepared to research deeper than believing the drivel the populist press spews out.

    Well done fellow Saintees

If the Scottish people decide to elect Alex Salmond as the first leader of iScotland is that not democracy? I would always trust ourselves to make the correct decisions for Scotland rather than going cap in hand to WM.

People south of the border seem to be only be joining the debate and tbh some of the arrogance and ignorance that is being directed north of the border only increases the desire for independence.

I actually think the rUK are in for a shock after indy.

How is Salmond a dictator? I've heard this before and I'm genuinely interested how you can call a democratically elected First Minister a dictator?

Looking at the poll results it's time to form Saints For Yes !

It's a simple choice. Do you want to live in a country that values education, health and social justice or a country that wants to be involved in wars, houses nuclear weapons and introduces policies to target the poorest and most vulnerable in our society?

Looking at the polls down south we can look forward to a Boris/Farage partnership at WM next year.

The media bias is frightening but thankfully the grass roots campaign for Yes is doing a magnificient job which will secure independence.

Not heard a convincing argument for No yet..

It doesn't really matter if there are Scottish MPs though does it?  Scotland's vote has only determined the party of government a couple of times since end of WW2 as far as I understand.

The opportunity to feel like your vote matters, to have a written constituion, to get rid of nuclear weapons, to have a written consitution protecting what is important to the poeple, to get away from westimnster and the house of lords, an opportunity to try and share the wealth of the country more evenly, to protect public services from being privatised, to be represented by people who have our interests as their priority, the ability to make policies and decisions on our needs.

It is a wonderful opportunity and I really hope we take it.

Why anybody would want to stay part of the United Kingdom is beyond me, our taxes are being squandered on projects that will never affect Scottish peoples lives in any way and the poor are becoming poorer and the rich becoming richer. It is also not beyond the realms of possibilty that the next government could be a UKIP/Conservative coalition which quite frankly scares me. If we are better together then why are we currently not better together? The only option is to vote yes.

So we win the Scottish Cup and we're meant to look down our noses on a competition that a year ago we'd have given our eye teeth to win?  I'll leave that attitude to the glory hunting OF fans if it's all the same to you thanks.

Did Stevie brown not say if somebody gave him 180k he'd sign 3 players I see if Celtic get into the campions league we get 104k so we should be able to bring in at least an extra 2 players now

I would love the club to offer Chris Miller a new contract now as a reward for some inspired performance. Would surely motivate others to try and up their game as well.

McInnes must have been watching wee Midge today thinking we were back in 2008 when he waxed lyrical about the wee man. If Midge had played like that every week since he came here he would be down south on mega bucks. One of those players that Del and Wright have said they can believe nobody has ever come in to snap him up. A full season of those performances please Midge.

BBC now on to this, not surprisingly (see BBC Scotland news site, sorry can't cut and paste).

Stevie May thread crisis now "at centre" of Referendum Campaign.

"As the Stevie May WAP Thread controversy continues to rumble on, there are clear indicators that the issue is becoming one that Referendum campaigners will ignore at their peril.

The latest Referendum poll, conducted by YouGov and published today, confirms that the "Yes" vote continues to advance. It now stands at 47%, excluding "don't knows". However, when respondents were asked how they would vote if the Stevie May thread was moved to football chat, the figure increased to 49%, within touching distance of victory.

A spokesman for Alex Salmond said "the Better Together campaign have utterly mis-judged this issue. The brave stance of Beatson and others is reminiscence of the finest hours of Scottish history - Bannockburn, our leading role in the European Enlightenment, and the 5 - 1 at Wembley. It is no surprise - no surprise - to us that the hard-working families of Scotland are literally - literally - as one on this issue, like".

"Better Together" responded promptly. "Whilst Mr Beatson's well-publicised knowledge of the criminal underworld in Tayside is a well-known - well-known - fact, this has not been a factor in the debate to date in fact, and we would not seek to make it so. The simple fact is, literally, that this thread has no place in a modern United Kingdom. Danny Alexander has made it clear that Treasury projections clearly demonstrate the clear fact that, should it not be moved, house prices in Scotland will fall between 14.6% and 32.9% within six months, vodka will be abolished, and full-scale thermo-nuclear war is a serious, serious possibility.

Our Political Editor, Toomunny Pies, said: "today sees the opening of a new chapter in the Referendum campaign. This issue has the potential to add real, real momentum to the "Yes" campaign. It remains to be seen in the coming weeks whether "Better Together" can formulate an effective counter to this".

    Danny Alexander is 14.

Still pinching myself. Can't believe we've signed a player. No loan involved. We've properly signed a decent player. Unbelievable scenes.

The whole "provincial club" thing annoys me. The Old Firm are provincial clubs. The only clubs that aren't are Hearts and Hibs!

I couldn't help but shake my head at the Sky Commentator (Andy Walker perhaps?)

When the Celtic penalty was given he made a comment along the lines of "It's a very soft penalty but so was the St Johnstone one" Clearly not taking into account that WE WEREN'T GIVEN ONE!

Millar was great the night. Agreed on doing double work. If we just had another player doing similar work as him in the middle we would be difficult to beat.
