Willie Peat
Any of my fellow auld yins remember the Fifeshire Bar in the South St, it was beside the vennel that takes you up to St John's Kirk. If my memory serves me correctly, the Fifeshire Bar became The King Willow in the late 1950's/early 60's and the 'mine host' was the Perthshire cricket professional Tommy Lodge. Tommy was also a reasonable footballer and played a season with Saints in the early 1950's.

I remember Tommy Lodge
