no. A tuesday champions league game is always on "terrestrial" TV (even though Sky show all of them). Usually it's regional - i.e. a Scottish team will be shown in Scotland.

Budget probably didn't cover screening a separate game from the English ITV though so the Arsenal game was shown. And they got beat.

 

 

Is it not usually sky for their home games and itv/stv/bbc for away games?

Stv only have themselves to blame. Itv would pay for the option of opting out of their game which meant historically Stv could show any Scottish Champions League game. But Stv in their wisdom started a fight with Itv  and dropped FA Cup games & England Internationals. So the first thing Itv did was stop paying for the additional opt out rights. Well done Stv, smart move!
