Shibbydoo
A new variation on an old theme. We need Owen to know how much we appreciate his good work next season, make him a Saintee and hopefully he'll think twice if the lure of Killie/Hibs etc ever does come. Based on the old You are my Larsson fae the ****:

blueheaven
Surely that song is based on "You Are My Sunshine", and isn't based on anything to do with the Old Firm!
Victor
Surely that song is based on "You Are My Sunshine", and isn't based on anything to do with the Old Firm! Yep, but surely its now known as a Celtic Henrik Larsson song? Its a bit like saying well adapt the words to Youll Never Walk Alone as its originally from Carousel. blueheaven
Yep, but surely its now known as a Celtic Henrik Larsson song? Not sure about that. I think adaptations of that song have been on the go at football grounds since well before Larsson was at Celtic. Lots of different clubs' fans have sung the same song about one player or another. It's also the same song as "You are a Weegie, a smelly Weegie", but I wouldn't associate that with supporting Celtic. You mention "You'll Never Walk Alone", but I think it's incorrect to associate that with any one particular team as well - it's sung at loads of different clubs, all across the world. As it happens though, I'm not particulary excited about singing that song about Owen Coyle. "Hey Oweny" is vastly superior - fact!
