henry hall
Yeah but sometimes a star burns bright for a moment. The Aberdeen guys look quite good, but so did Forsyth, McClune et al. A building is as strong as it's foundations and Del, Doc and Alec are giving our weans a very good grounding. Remember, only Reynolds has tasted the big league and looked very good indeed. Two interesting points. Zander slowed the game down in a very mature manner today. On a number of occasions we were under the cosh and the defence were at odds with each other, Zander slowed it down and allowed us to re-organise. When a ball went out for a throw-in, Sheildsy cleverly kicked it miles away to allow us time to regroup. He got a yellow card (despite being a subby) but it was very clever and good to see him "take one for the team". His two bookings at Hamilton in the league were stupid, this one was clever. No idea how many are left in the competition and I don't care; the boys beat a very ood team and tonight should be a night of celebraton. Think it was more a case with sheidsy, that he was chuffed to put one over on accies who let him go.

henry hall
Take it from me . The Falkirk site report is total crap. St Johnstone missed 4 chances in the first half, and Zander hardly had a save to make. Second half Falkirk were the better team, but Stevie May brought out a great save from the Falkirk goalie. " goal" was clearly handled into the net, so that was a bit of sour grapes from them. It wasnt up for debate. Draw was a fair result. 101 Saint
Awesome news Derek, this is a brilliant piece of business - thank you, so very much. Stevie May will be our success story as we head into the teens of this third millenium.
Radford 72
U19s lost 6-0 up in Aberdeen this afternoon. Another heavy defeat after the joys of beating Hamilton. Be interesting to see if we were missing players as it seems a real handicap for us when we have a handful of lads missing.

Back to the u19's, defo thought it would be a tighter score than that.

101 Saint
A threadbare U19 team were leading Hamilton one nil when the game was abandoned today at Stirling University. Couldn't tell you who got the goal, bad fog and bad eyes are a bad combination!!!!

101 Saint
That is a good result with Hamilton sitting at the top of the table. Sadly it's not a result. The game will be replayed. We competed very well today. The boys are a credit to the club.
henry hall
Abandoned at HT. Thats 2.5 games against the top of the table and 1 draw away, 1 victory away in the cup and 1 game abandoned when we were 1 up at HT. They are top and we are bottom. Such a tight league, and remember we are essentially a young 1st year 19s team, with only 2-3 of this years team ineligable for the 19s next year. Not many of the others can say that. This year is all about competing and finding their feet. Next year I would expect us to be near the top.
