slambrother
Just heard that we will play Dundee United at home first game of the season! Sounds like a great first fixture! Come on ye saints!!!!!!
The ghost of Jim Morton
Where did you hear that from. Have you got a crystal ball?? I thought the fixture list was not released to the clubs till the 16th of June and made public on the 17th.....
slambrother
***, yeah been rubbing it all morning. Heard from an Arab friend who has someone in the know! Am prepared to look like a complete pap if i'm wrong!
Ronaldo
They'll be thinking that's a great opener for them with us just been promoted and they won the last opener at McD in the 90's. However a great opener for us too, local derby, they've lost their great goalkeeper seemingly but we'll see. Darren Dods back. I'd certainly prefer that opening game to any other if it's true. Watty
United at home on the Monday night for Setanta. Beleive it on the 17 June.
Andy
Utd are playing Hibs at home on the first game. Something to do with their centenary as Hibs were the first game the played. I think Hibs agreed to this last season.
Kevin
United at home on the Monday night for Setanta. Beleive it on the 17 June. You really think Setanta will still be around on June 17th let alone the start of the season!! Anyway, as newly promoted we get a Saturday home game, the TV rights will go to the Rangers home game on the Saturday and the Celtic away game on the Sunday
101 Saint
Anyway, as newly promoted we get a Saturday home game When did they change this? Hamilton were Monday night against Arabs and won 4-0 that would do nicely!
TheBigCheese
Anyway, as newly promoted we get a Saturday home game, the TV rights will go to the Rangers home game on the Saturday and the Celtic away game on the Sunday Hamilton's first game last season was live on Setanta on the Monday, at home to Dundee Utd. Mike180279
And St Mirren's first game when they went up was away at Inverness. There are no guarantees with the fixtures. United are maybe a logical guess but I'd be very surprised if everything was done and dusted yet.I thought the 'champions' were always at home to raise the championship flag or has that all changed? Steve Maskrey
I would imagine the fixtures might be delayed until the Setanta issue becomes clearer

Not to suggest that SS isn't pissed, but don't pay any attention to the time posted- postings are listed on GMT & Singapore is 8 hours ahead. But I'm not counting out the fact he could be pissed.
