With about  £100k up for grabs per position in the league it may be a bit short-sighted not signing or resigning players.

Uninspiring - been used in a couple of previous posts,  sums up our board and will sum up the mood of our stay away fans no doubt.

Uninspiring transfer window so far. Following our usual pattern though.
Lots of players go out on loan. Manager comes out and says there is no money. Chairman comes out and says times are difficult and we're lucky to be alive. Saints get linked with one or two decent players.  Saints move a player on to another club which makes it look like we're about to swoop for someone.  30 mins before the window closes we're linked with Derek Riordan and eventually sign a rubbish English player on loan. 

I remember talk of a fee; not so much for his transfer but for goodwill to secure his early release.
Regarding Bikey. 40k isn't a lot to speculate on someone who might be the next Stevie May. We could have a whip round if Steve doesn't want to fork out. A tenner from everyone at the next home match?

Very sad.  Over 25 years ago we were buying players when we needed and there was a strategic plan. 165k for John Davies for example. Today is very uninspiring. 

I used to have a season ticket but due to work commitments e.g. Working three out of four weekends I haven't hit one anymore. 
But forget that my point is the deal is that if any club sells out there allocation of tickets they stop general sale so surely both teams should put tickets on sale at same time to give both sets fans same opportunity to buy tickets. What's to say if Celtic getting big away support there tickets sell out before I have a chance to buy any.

So West Ham are willing to pay £20 million for a player who is currently at a Scottish Club.

I suppose that's the test - would you take him back - but it depends on the price of course.
Me I'd take him back on a free. For the same wages we paid him before.
