He simply doesn't have the pace, but at least we know that now. Error which assisted a 1 on 1 with Zander, but I completely agree his willingness to win was immense, some fantastic cross field passing and overall was at the Hearts players ankles biting away constantly. A really good performance.

I can't understand anyone who was at the game can criticise Paton. Like everyone he made mistakes but along with Muzz he did his job to snuff out the Hearts midfield almost to perfection.

Funny how results against different teams provide different emotions. Wins against teams like Celtic and Aberdeen bring elation, because they are quality sides. Wins against Rangers and Hearts bring a certain smugness because they are cheating horrible bastards.

Great win today.
Zander clearly MOTM but a special mention to Paul Paton who was superb throughout. He might not be everyone's cup of tea but he was outstanding today and his partnership with Muzz has real potential.
I was worried with Danny missing out but credit to Coulsin who played his part.
What a squad we've put together. A bench with Kane, Spoony and Alston show real strength in depth.
Well played the Young Team, keep it up guys!

Great team performance from all 11 players. Difficult to pick best outfield player but that was Paul Paton's best game so far. 10 points so far is very good.

Great result, I thought Clark played a blinder, Ando was mr reliable and Liam just loves playing against the Jambos. A bit of consistency from the ref wouldn't have gone a miss today. If he quite rightly books Cummins and Kane for diving then surely he has to book Nicholson too. He bottled it and just gave him a talking to.

Due to his injury record at St Mirren it was reported that Watson was given a thorough medical before we signed him......& he's already been out since pre-season. TW said Coulson could play on either wing & Coulson himself said he could also play through the middle...........yet to see any evidence of this. Paton looks slow. If McKay is away would this money not go towards signing Foster? I definitely agree that another striker should have been signed.

When will they be ready? When will you find out if they're ready? The odd game here and there covering for injuries to first teamers are exactly the times this should happen. If they get ripped they get ripped. Shows them the level they need to be at. I'd rather show a promising youngster what level he should be at than a Plamen here for 3 games shithouse.

It's a difficult cycle to break now that we are an established top 6 team.
Definately reeping the benefits of finishing 4 th last year and pocketing 1.45 million, selling stevie May and moh, winning the Scottish cup and endless semi final appearances. European pedigree is good and undoubtedly the best team spirit in the spfl.
Tommy has earned his stripes and browner giving him some wiggle room to attract a superb squad.
Established top 6 now and with this years fixtures guaranteeing bumper crowds at McD the income keeps rolling in.
Would love to see another striker added top 3 is doable.
