I remember that the triple additions of Wullie Brown, Steve Evans and Charlie Adams to that team pumped 5 - 1 at home to Medowbank seemed to herald a new golden age. Shows how bad we were and how far we've come. Part of the fun of supporting your local team even when the ground is 90 miles away !

That's what we had after 6 games last year then we won 5 on the spin. Might have been 2 points from 7. When do Millwall play Celtic. :-)

I hope it is Paul Hartley if Steve goes. Two back to back promotions. Saw the games against Dunfermline in the play off final. They played well and in an attractive way. He also knows how to get the best out of Stevie May ! He'd be up for it as he'd be having a relegation battle in the 1st with Alloa. Also knows Saints as it's where his career got a kick start under Billy Stark.

We've got one of them in Greenock. Some good stuff in it at knockdown prices. Some utter tosh as well mind you. Biscuits, toiletries are all half the price they are in Tesco and in their sell by. My daughter has been helping me do up my house with some canvas prints. Was wary of it at first but it's fine ( the shop not my daughter's taste ). Any supposedly ambitious player joing this mob in the 3rd will have their reputations forever tarnished. Thing is when they do get back to join us in the SPL most of them will get dropped like a hot tattie ! Can understand McCulloch as an older pro and a sort of company man but some of the others I just don't get. Maybe join them in Div 1 but the 3rd ! Having said that they will definitely win it but they could have done it a whole lot cheaper. Banker will be raging. A chancer like Rory McAllister would have done !

As far east as Erskine and as far west as Inverkip. Should make that Largs as they have a chippy that does white puddins !
