We shot ourselves in the foot - just shouldn't have got drawn into a brawl. should use have given them the ball and simply strolled back to positions, scratched rear ends, tied boot laces, collapsed with cramp and get trainer on........anything to waste a bit of time and get heads back in gear. TW needs to sort them out.

Agree but think that there is recognition from TW that st mirren tactics too open ( guess this was also the case against DUtd) and a tighter approach away from home will pay dividends. PS that's a very posh way to say "goals" !!

oK Ed mabe I was a wee bit harsh with 'underperforming' but whilst I think Scobbie showed up pretty wheel earlier this season Easton just hasn't - looks nervous defensively and how many times have you seen him push forward a la Mackay or Davidson last year? Even a Davidson at 80% is quality plus you get the value of his experience on the park.

Agree really poor. For me only Mackay, Wright, Mannus and May get pass marks. Easton looked lost - can't help thinking that Callum Davidson should be recalled. Millar completely useless until moved in to central role. TW needs to take a hard look at team structure and tactics - and he's takes far too long to adjust, make changes. well known fact that Thistle have a good midfield with good passing, movement and pressing - we simply didn't deal with it - why not? Hope homework done on ITc and the appropriate team and tactics deployed plus playing at a higher tempo from kick off else could get a bit of a doin.

But thats where you maximise your away crowd and also increase yer chances of more people taking part.

Guys go google this Darragh chappy. Owns businesses that go bust, other businesses that don't file accounts on time, the growing debts of P Unt under his stewardship etc etc. All too similar to the goings on at RFC over the past few years. Little wonder Saints wouldn't do a deal on tick - high risk they'd never see the cash. SM should take the advice of TW and stay put, develop his skills, get plenty of game time, score goals and build his reputation - his chance will come. He needs to set his sights agood bit higher than P Unt.
