well, perhaps he is better than the current layers in the under 21's, and if he can improve the side and be the difference and help get the under 21's to a european/world competition then he should be in it.

what difference does it make if he'll only get a couple of caps? if he makes the difference then he is obviously worth it

Martin Hardie, Liam Craig, Gavin Swankie, Kevin Moon

Craig Conway, Ross Forbes, Kevin McDonald, Michael Stewart, Scott Robertson, James McArthur, David Wotherspoon for starters

None of the Saints players have been close.

Forbes decent start to the season but doing nothing now. Kevin McDonald may be for Burnley haven't seen enough of him and dont think he is playing everyweek. Wotherspoon not week in week out.

The rest absolute nonsense.

All currently better than Muzz though, whether theyre good enough for Scotland or not

Davidson is a raw talent with enormous potential and could be a future internationalist.

I fear that he could burn out or pick up a serious injury due to his power play and undoubted commitment. He doesn't know how to hold back in a challenge which is probably why he generally comes out of them uninjured. I can't believe how often he leaves an opponent on the deck after a 50:50.

Del needs to ensure he gets a rest now and again to maintain his edge.

The squad is:

Craig Gordon (Sunderland), Jamie Langfield (Aberdeen), David Marshall (Cardiff); Christophe Berra (Wolves), Gary Caldwell (Celtic), Steven Caldwell (Burnley), Danny Fox (Celtic), Alan Hutton (Tottenham), Stephen McManus (Celtic), Lee Wallace (Hearts), Steven Whittaker (Rangers); Don Cowie (Watford), Graham Dorrans (West Brom), Darren Fletcher (Manchester United), Ross McCormack, James McFadden (Birmingham), Barry Robson (Celtic), Kevin Thomson (Rangers); Steven Fletcher (Burnley), Kevin Kyle (Kilmarnock), Kenny Miller (Rangers), Steven Naismith (Rangers), Derek Riordan (Hibernian).

Inevitably, half of that squad will change though when all the Rangers and Celtic players call off.
