YELLOW ARMY
the himalaya is pretty good but it's quite of-putting when you see the brown stained walls !
St Mikey
Himalaya has been shut down and re-open several times for food hygeine issues! Dalyanos was a favourite of mine but is now serving crap in a tray. I spend a little more cash and get the meal deals at Manzil.
Guest Bertrand
Curry King out in Sunny Scone actually does a really good curry, was very surprised but have been back several times now, excellent value too.
Jamie_Beatson
Manzil is very good as St Mikey says and while it is a little more pricey, you normally get plenty for your money on the carry out. I am a massive fan of Sizzler's Special Chicken Korma - very mild and sweet, but very tasty. Nice for a change from the curries that blow your face off. Tranmere Saintee
Walked past the Himalaya several times a day for about 6 months when I first moved to Perth in 82 before I actually realised it was open!! Reckon they still haven't washed the windows or walls:roll:

Prawn garlic chilli there is class. Ali is a quality cook. Used to get stuff from him when he had tandoori knights too.

Derek Patterson
No long back from the Manzil. Had a prawn Himalayan Hot Pot. Plenty green chillies in it. Best sit in I've had in a very long time. Wouldn't say it's that much dearer than anywhere else. Also had an Irish coffee after it. Phil
Just wanted to compare value. Anyone using Singapore as a stopover to Oz, give me a shout. Little India has fantasic food and will no where cost you 7.50 a meal. Maybe half of that. Stayed on Dunlop St. for a few days last year. Loved the food when there! Derek Patterson
In agreeance with Muzz for his initial post. Just went to the Himalaya for the first time in years. Prawn Madras. Sheer taste. Pretty hot but still mega tasty. May try the vindaloo the next time. Decent value too. Got the madras, a bhuna, 2 pilau rices and a garlic naan for under £15. Recommended.
