I know nothing about this guy.

I just screamed out in delight when I read the article on my phone. Dobbie signs for Saints.......

Cant say I remember much about him - perhaps Ghostie will fill us in on his Albioin Days.

He is Six Foot Plus so Defo fits the target man mould

The BBC reporting is a joke, I'm surprised they got this wrong though as they usually just go to the St Johnstone site and copy and paste from there.

They also managed to screw up this article:

http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport2/hi/football/teams/s/st_johnstone/8714392.stm

Stating that Bolton are playing our pre season fixture list.

So even when they copy and paste they screw it up.

Very odd signing. Doesn't fit in terms of Del's targets. He is neither a target man nor a fast winger. Is this a sign that we're getting budget for an extra forward or perhaps a sign that either Dinky or Caff are to be unloaded shortly?

I certainly think one or both of those will be off if they can find a club. Three centre backs, four depending on where Dave plays, have signed new contracts, but neither of those spells only one thing to me.

Just seems odd. Del's been told to cut the squad size, I believe that the budget will be less and Del has stated that his targets are a new Deuchar, a new goalie and two wingers. I expect that a left back is also a priority, though Del will never admit this publicly. Well, if he gets a big striker a goalie and two wingers, that remains a big squad.

Out: Sheerin, Swankie, McLean, Deuchar, Irvine, Morais and Main

In: Adams, Dobie + 4

Yeah, we've lost some loans but there will always be budget for loan signings throughout the year. Perhaps, Peaso and Jacko are part of a six month shoot out?

Forgot about Irvine - much like Del did!
