sleepless
Rangers down to eight men; Lennon has a go at McCoist. What a pair. Can they not just play each other every week and save the rest of us having to bother with them?
MalmoSaintee
No need for the shite. Sooner they get out the SPL the better. Old Firm = Scotland's shame.

sleepless
don't see why. Cardiff and Wrexham could both be in the English Premier League next season. Both have been before as well. That didn't stop Wales playing as a separate country in internationals. Don't see why it should be different for the psycho twins.

sleepless
it does, you're right. All that hideous aggression. We just play football. It's disappointing we couldn't score again, but at least we haven't disgraced ourselves like the Old Firm tonight.
Saintly Child
Every game with them two is the same. Deduct them 20 points each that will sort them out.
BlueJ
Even if the OF were allowed to join the EPL they would still be based in Glasgow; would still have to play each other at least twice a season in Glasgow; would be known as the two Scottish clubs playing in the English league and would still be able to produce the embarrassments like tonight that shame Scotland as a nation. In fact, with the higher profile of the EPL, their disgusting antics would reach a much bigger world wide audience than at the moment therefore shaming Scotland even more. There is no solution as long as the two clubs exist and the authorities do nothing to curtail them.
ancientsaint
Strathclyde polis are considering refusing to Police games between the Old Firm nee Glasgow Rangers and Glasgow Celtic. Now IF that did happen -how would Doncaster and the SFA / SPL deal with that ? Personally I would like to see them play their games behind closed doors with NO coverage on TV. That is not to simplify the situation or play it down. To be honest the media do play a part in what happens. How many times have we heard Sky commentators, BBC, the print press complain when you get an OF game without any major incidents or any aggro. After what happened tonight from the red tops to the broadsheets they are probably rubbing their hands with glee knowing that all over the UK it is going to sell their product. garydavidson
http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-scotland-glasgow-west-12631956 Something doesn't add up here - 34 people in Glasgow's Parkhead stadium for a variety of sectarian, racial and breach of the peace offences. But then the police union bloke does not mention sectarian offences once concerning the arrests outside of the ground but blames alcohol and domestic violence! I am guessing of the 34 arrested about 2 of them were sectarian.
