This is something a lot of us of a certain generation would have probably enjoyed. Maybe even just ensuring the surviving players are in or about McDiarmid for the Hamilton home fixture which is near the actual date? A showing of the match day footage in a lounge with some of the players would have been good. Mark Treanor told me he had watched it a few years back. I like many no doubt have it on VHS tape but nothing too watch it on. Could get it converted but somebody probably done that already. I think Barossa Street showed the game to much singing and dancing a year of two back but my memory is hazy on that one. As for a showing, a big screen in the sunshine outside the concert hall with a bar of two would attract the right people. When though? I don't think season tickets went on sale until 2/3 months after the Final. FWIW I've never received a single email from St Johnstone, despite signing up through Saints TV and Online tickets to get them.

I was ready to buy a season ticket on the 18th of May but I was so sickened by their inaction, I didn’t. I bought my first one in a long time this year. No new signings until the second week in August, and the new strip not released until a month after either. They let the hype die out entirely. I have even signed up to the mailing list on the website and never get any emails! Used to get some a few years ago about ladies day races and hospitality offers - that was it. Not heard a dickie bird since, tried to do it again and it wouldn't let me as it already had my email address. Bev looking into it for me as it seems to be not an isolated issue. garydavidson
Cagey
I can't remember when I last got an e-mail from Tommy. They must have lost the data base. Or maybe Kirsten is cost cutting.

Thanks for posting that, made my day. Dave Ferg
Tranmere Saintee
Like so many, my emails from the club are totally random and this is one area which needs looking into with some urgency. I think I have only had 2 of Tommy’s ramblings this season after getting them most weeks for the last couple of years.
