cristo reacted to ejksjfc in St Johnstone v Rangers 22/9/19 (12.15 KO)
I may not be the best person to reply to your post but here goes.
My wife was diagnosed with MND in July therefore I can appreciate anyone who has been affected by this disease will have strong feelings and compassion for anyone who has been affected by MND in any way. When Fernando was playing for Rangers I thought he was a typical mostly overrated obnoxious individual in much like present day Scott Brown at Celtic. We as football fans should be able to support anyone (or their surviving families) when they are hit with a tragedy such as has happened to Fernando Ricksenns family recently.
I would have liked to think that we as Saints fans could have been above such petty behaviour such as your post or the few Celtic fans who posted “ one less *** “ comments or Rangers fan who thought it wise to taunt the aforementioned Scott Brown about his late sister.
I 100% back the club for allowing this tribute to FR and can also say it had absolutely nothing at all to do with our defeat today.
As I said my personal situation may well be clouding my views but I can see beyond my hatred of all things “old firm” in a situation like this and was happy to support the clubs decision.

Good point.
Disappointed that Negative Tommy only started with 3 attacking players and 4 four more on the bench.

Some folk must be on queer medication. I can get as hyper (without pills) as anyone when following Saints.
After a positive 2nd half last week , some were building their hopes up day by day throughout the week , until they were Mega Hyper & after a 1-0 defeat they are totally deflated and Saints are shite, Tommy must go etc.
Ffs. Get a grip of yourselves.
Support your team through thick and thin.

cristo got a reaction from templeofsaints in Taxi for Tommy?
Precisely. This thread is about the manager, who will be judged by selection, formation, tactics etc on match day.
He started the same eleven today as last week, rightly so I'm sure we all agree. The substitutions today were all good. We got to see May and Wright back in the fold and he changed it to the 4 4 2 we were screaming out for. It didn't work today but has done before and it will do again.
Get all the politics and spread sheet stuff on one of the Steve Brown threads and let Tommy get on with the football.
I'm sure he's capable of booking his own taxi when the time is right.

Drey Wright has also played full back before. I’d rather have him in there than a loanee

I don't know how many on here are also Twitter, but 3 hours ago Stevie posted "home time" . Now over 200 hundred replies, masses of them from dons fans. Unbelievable really, almost all positive and wishing him well. Many sad to see him go, didn't get a chance etc. Seems the only person that didn't rate him was McInnes.

Decent player all round and I wish him well, though obviously not when he plays against us,
Foster right back v Swanson on our left wing? mmmmm.

Hope Calum Hendry steps up to the plate and proves to be the striker we already have. I can't help thinking that, given the chance, he will be.

Just bought a ticket for the Killie game. E mailed to me immediately and all I have to do is show them it on my phone and they zap it and let me in. How simple is that.
Knowing my luck the battery will die on my phone on the way to the game.

In what way was I being personal? He wasn’t good enough to play for a top flight club and has done well at a lower level. That’s just fact.

Who gives a ****? Neither Hurst were even close to being good enough so left, fair play if they've found a better standard of life elsewhere, but I really couldn't care less, never mind making multiple meaningless posts about it.

Our new striker will land on the centre circle of Easter Road at 2.50pm Saturday on one of those.

The online system lets you look at a seat plan and choose your seat, which I think is a big plus.
Personally I'd always rather do a transaction online than have to go to the bother of calling someone up and talk them through what I want, but I guess that's just personal preference.

Kane has his uses. I doubt he'll ever score 15-20 goals in a season but he works hard and would be a decent foil for a goalscorer. Certainly don't think he's anywhere near as bad as he's made out to be at times.
