Edstar101
Thing is about the City Hall...it's not even in a location where you get a good look at it and think what a lovely building it is (even though it may be). All it does is make that area all dark. It's had it's day i'm afraid. An open square there would do so much more for the town. Build a wee extension to the Concert Hall and call that the City Hall if you feel the need to have one at all

ryangordon86
A demolition firm would take it down free of charge, or even pay for the privilege if the materials are valuable enough

ryangordon86
Ha! Thats plan B when planning permission is refused! Seriously though, I'm sure there would be a lot of salvage value in the city hall. Wouldn't cost the town a penny to remove
Edstar101
We could sell it to an American town or city and get them to ship it brick by brick and rebuild it in some backwater somewhere

I've been to a few gigs/shows there and never noticed any problem with the acoustics. 2. What's wrong with the location? 3. Better than what we had before.
