SPL Fan Survey
We are currently running a survey at http://splsurvey.co.uk with regards to the possibility of Rangers being liqudated and being allowed re entry into the SPL. within the first 48 hours off going live we have had over 10,000 responses and been featured on BBC Reporting Scotland and taking part in an on air discussion on BBC Sportsound. We are asking all fans to visit the site and take part in the survey, we will then pass the results onto all SPL chairmen, the SPL & the SFA so they can see what we as fans feel. All I ask is you speak to as many friends and family as possible as well as suppoters of your club and make them aware. Current responses are: There have been a total of 10684 responses. The Neutral
surprised at fans not supporting the FFP proposals... worried about them being brought to bear on their own club perhaps?
SPL Fan Survey
surprised at fans not supporting the FFP proposals... worried about them being brought to bear on their own club perhaps? the feeling among fans is that the proposals are only being brought in to smooth the way for a Newco RFC to stay in the SPL in their current guise and the punishment in terms of points deduction etc is a token slap on the wrist. These are not my views these are the opinions of fans replying to the survey.

Jings
surprised at fans not supporting the FFP proposals... worried about them being brought to bear on their own club perhaps? The proposals simply ain't tough enough.
The Neutral
The proposals simply ain't tough enough. i think for the "smaller" teams that are up to their eyes in debt they will be pretty draconian.. can you imagine killie, dunfermline etc only receiving 25% of their prize money & starting with a 10 point penalty for 2 seasons? it's a nice easy out for Rangers, Celtic and maybe Hearts, worth a punt for a few other teams and hellish for the rest. just my take on it from what i have read. The Neutral
surprised or disappointed a bit of both... we need these rules in place.. but set the points deduction as a percentage of the average points received over the prev 3 seasons prior to admin. SPL Fan Survey
Over 11,000 responses now things as expected slow over weekend due to committments ie football, bevvy, shopping, kids etc. Need you guys to spread the word when you get back into work Monday about the site. Sadly Sky are ignoring the voice of 11,000 Scottish Football fans by refusing to even mention the survey and the response. It sums up their attitude to clubs outwith the OF despite fans sending emails to Sky at u2us@skysports.com

Das Rave
No club, irrespective of previous standing should be allowed immediate re-entry into ANY division of Scottish Football. At a time when our game is nigh on ridiculed worldwide, this would merely re-inforce opinions of perceived Old Firm bias. It would also open the floodgates to other clubs to live beyond their means, then liquidate to 'wipe the slate clean' and start again.(my comment) 11000+ and I fear it won't make one iota of difference to the Self Preservation League. Shame because as fans they tell us what we're getting, not giving a toss about what we want

Doctorsaint
Why bother with the survey SPL, SKY, SFA don’t care about fans their only interested in the Old Firm that why SKY has put pressure on the SPL and also the rally reason the SFA are flexing their muscles scottish football is dead and it only going to get worse as Rangers and getting away with it just as Dundee twice. SPL Fan Survey
This is pointless. They don't listen to us fans. Don't they? I can now reveal I have been invited to a meeting at Hampden on Tuesday 24th April with Neil Doncaster & Iain Blair the SPL's Operations Directot to discuss the survey results. The survey closes at 1800 Monday response so far has been great just short of 13,500 can we have a massive push to try to get it past 15,000 by the time it closes. Thanks for the support. henryhallsdanceband
Bit of a trek up from Cheshire for you mate - but good luck to you - good to getting this far and getting your/our voice heard. Of course you realise of course that you may well just get the usual 'vocal minority' accusation - the thing those in authority who are making a decision use when the decision is made on reasons that are not, and rarely become, public knowledge. You appear to have got through to the decision makers with your survey, where us individuals have failed in our attempts to let them know of our feelings. Good luck on our behalf at the meeting. Hope its not another whitewash job. The Scottish footballing public/supporters have had enough. This is the time for change and strong action. SPL Fan Survey
Overnight we shot past 14,000 responses! Right, it's the football this weekend, so if you're going the match, tell at least 2 pals and urge them to do the survey, tell them to get their smartphones out and get it done pronto! And urge them to tell more pals at the match, at the pub before and after the match. If enough word of mouth gets around the grounds and pubs today I'm sure we could pass 15,000 tonight! Also, everyone please keep e-mailing u2us@skysports.com and make them take notice, they reported on a pointless survey of 1,650 people about wether or not they care about the olympics, yet are ignoring what is now 14,000 Scottish football fans?! Get 'em telt! Here's this morning stats: There have been a total of 14073 responses. If Rangers are liquidated and reformed as a Newco, should they be allowed immediate re-entry into the SPL? Indicator
Anybody - Has ANY mainline Scottish newspaper run a story on what Non-OF fans think of the wheeling and dealing and back-room manipulation, and obvious political chicanery that is going on to ensure the OF remains a 'twosome' ? Probably the wrong thread for this but folk have probably had enough of the 'Ibrox Latest' thread.
