Dave H
Right, I Celik fan says that if they make it to Champions League group stages that all teams in SPL get £200k payout, as part fo the TV rights/deal for Champions League footabll. He says hes not making this up, although has he been drinking too much Buckie? Anyone know if Saints benefit with a lump sum if Celik make the group stages, if this is true, I take back all my laughing when they were horsed by Warsaw, and all the nonsense that surrounded Warsaw getting chucked out... I should turn back time and say 'the rules are the rules' if it does help bring in cash to Saints.
Abernethy Saint
Yep. This gets discussed every year at this time. Dunno if it's that much, but it's a tidy sum. That and the co-efficient means I'll be shouting for Celtic next week.

dunblanemike
I think our FA gets solidarity payments for clubs in the qualifying round but can't see anything about further payments when qualifying. This was the position in 11/12 http://www.uefa.org/MultimediaFiles/Download/uefaorg/Finance/01/84/05/90/1840590_DOWNLOAD.pdf link from http://www.uefa.org/about-uefa/news/newsid=1840934.html
deej
Would imagine its £200k each before the SFA take their 42% cut.
Abernethy Saint
Dave H: aye it does! Pay attention!! It does hurt, but you know it makes sense....... MON (cough, splutter) THE (nausea) SELL (projectile vomiting) IIKKKK. Sellik do try to play good footy though, and if you shade your eyes so you can't see the sectarian Neanderthal crowd, it can be fun. (Honest). 208saint
179, 000 according to BBC I believe that refers to the number of fans they took to Seville and is just short of the number of Aberdeen fans that were at the Mickey Moose cup final last season Abernethy Saint and fazman1977

HOODLUM65
Aye yer right. Ye dinnae half notice the difference when a foreign referee does their games. Free kicks and penalties not given for dives. Ha ha. Mulgrew caught in possession for being too slow and Ambrose a bomb scare. Saints take note. They don't like it up 'em.
