In the early 70's and just before everybody jumped around freely on the rock/Hippie side which was album led but on the other side you had 17 year old conservative traditional types who danced on the spot, women with their handbags (R2D2), and they had idols like Garry Glitter, Jimmy Saville and the Bay City Rollers. They weren't just perverts they were pensioners by the age of 21. This was the first bit of music I danced properly with a female in that she was mental ....... too! It was in the Pathfoot Refectory at Stirling Uni. and I'm sure it was a threesome because this pillar kept getting in-between and being physical.
