Nuggets
I didn't realise there was once a bank next to the Sally. Cracking photos, the originals must be quality. Yeah and it is a failing restaurant all the time.
Nuggets
Inside or out! We have painted inside, but outside is the nightmare bit. Only so much we can do to the outside with it being a listed building.

Ronaldo
If you look at the picture below Imagine walking through the arch in the background ( in between the 2 ladders) then turn and face right, That is roughly where it was taken. I can see Cocorde (not the plane).

grr
I can see Cocorde (not the plane). Concorde also had a "hi-fi" shop in the centre, it was under the flats to the left hand side of the monument - well behind it really. Ronaldo
Concorde also had a "hi-fi" shop in the centre, it was under the flats to the left hand side of the monument - well behind it really. That's right I remember that now you mention. I thought Concorde was magnificent and I remember while at school getting albums out of there weekly and it meant something because it seemed like more than music you were buying, many of the covers were a bit of art too. I got one of the first copies in Britain and the first in Concorde of L.A. Woman by the Doors. I remember the guy said that and the cover was different from the ones later and it had a good poster which you didn't get later. Happy memories. Ronaldo
The now Ice Rink sort of. What a big factory. I worked in their plant up where Hydro Electric (SSE) is now and 90% of their sales went abroad.
