I don't come on here very often, being a Stoke fan, but I've always kept an eye on Saints results since living in Perth throughout the 90s and going to a good few Saints games home and away, including the last league cup final in 98 and Monaco home and away after that. Just another gloryhunter!

Agreed, I was a fan of Alston maybe not given a huge amount of game time but thought he was a very positive player for us. Hope his return to Falkirk works out for him.

Horrible thing to say about a very decent player and very nice guy. This "found his level" crap really pees me off. I mean about anyone, not just Pates. 
He played his part for us and another couple of clubs after that, things haven't worked out for various reasons.
