pitsjfc
The football league is corrupt as, 1. Oysten Blackpool FC, convicted rapist: majority share holder take millions from the club putting nothing back while having his son act as the owner breaching 3rd party ownership rules. PASSED THE FIT AND PROPER TEST 2. Ched Evans unattatched, convicted rapist: football league going out of there way to find a club that will allow him to train and possibly earn a contract. FIT AND PROPER ROLE MODEL? 3. GHF Leeds United FC, fraudulent documents hiding the true place funding to buy the club came from. Cajoling police in Saudi Arabia to imprison a man who will spill the beans on the levels of corruption they are involved in for over 6 months without charge. PASSED FIT AND PROPER TEST 4. Cellino Leeds United FC, evading €388,500 tax: subjected to months of investigations disbarred twice winning one appeal. Targeted by Shaun Harvey as part of a clearly personal vendetta. FAILED FIT AND PROPER TEST. 5. Shaun Harvey, Football League: involved in 3 clubs that have gone into administration now in charge of the Football League. FIT AND PROPER?? Abernethy Saint
He also knows how to get sloppy seconds out of an unconscious waitress whilst his mates filmed him. He'd be fine if he just said sorry. fazman1977
AthensSaint
He also knows how to get sloppy seconds out of an unconscious waitress whilst his mates filmed him. He'd be fine if he just said sorry. Most of the women I spoke to about this do think he is being harshly treated in the media but at the same time they feel uncomfortable that he never openelly apoligised and admitted what he did was unacceptable. Paul N Shark
Ched Evans is just a rapist with a few bob.
Saintdunc
Ched Evans is just a rapist with a few bob. Unlike Sheffield United who have lost a few bob, which is probably why they took so long to decide whether they wanted to have him back, plus the petition signed by thousands of Blades and Sheffielders. Scobby_SJFC
The problem lies with the punishment, he's integrated back into society which is what he is supposed to do
jazzsaint
The problem lies with the punishment, he's integrated back into society which is what he is supposed to do The problem is that "HE IS A CONVICTED SEX OFFENDER" Whether he claims it was all made up and consensual etc. etc. is neither here nor there. The fact remains that he was convicted in a court of law of a sexual offence. There are occupations which require the employee to have no criminal convictions etc. and I believe professional footballers should also fall into this category. Professional footballers have a responsibility to act and behave in a manner which is fitting of a person who is deemed to be a role model to younger players who aspire to be like them. For me having a convicted sex offender as a role model is abhorrent and should not happen. That's my tuppence worth anyway. pringles
My female friends have some sympathy with him now he has served his sentence. I presume they have a great deal more sympathy for the victim whom Evans has never apologised to
craiginasaintsstrip
Sucks for Evans but I have zero sympathy for either party in a sexual situation where alcohol is a contributor.
TheYellowBox
Football is full of cheats, crooks and lowlifes with money. The days of clubs being run by a fan or fans with a bit of money will soon be gone. Owners of a lot of clubs like Leeds are in it for themselves and all too often fans are the ones fooled. Players too are increasingly loosing touch with reality. Everything is about money and status. Evans would have no chance at any club if it wasn't for them thinking he could make them money. There is little honour or respect. Yet fans are so blinded by club loyalties they loose all perspective and swallow whatever crap they are fed. Tonev, Saurez, Terry etc all would be the hate guy from the fans of the clubs who they played for had they played for any other club.
