mysaint
It would be a scandal if Blatter recieved illegal payments for attributing the world cup to Qatar and the likes! be an even bigger scandal if he didn't! saintcraigieboy
I haven't read much about it yet. But I would guess if blatter isn't being looked at yet then he has done a deal to pin it on everyone else. Only my thoughts
Plastered
Blatter is a slimy clever individual who will quite happily stab any of his (former) colleagues in the back, and look all innocent at the same time. The corrupt African football authorities and Russia will make sure their fellow corrupt president will be re-elected, even if all European countries vote against him. Plastered
Could we ask the FBI to investigate Donkeycaster and his merry men? Oldermoresensiblepack

Cleveland-Saint
Putin has come out and said this is an attempt to prevent Blatter from being re-elected. Whilst the timing is indeed curious, good to see FIFA have the support of the good guys -------------------------- Putin only cares about his reelection in 2018 and saw the world cup as a nice marketing toy. Maybe worried that if large scale corruption was uncovered from their bid they could lose the world cup? Not too mention they probably will find wheelbarrows of rubles along the merry trail. In what way the Fifa corruption scandal disturbs your way of life? you do not think that fifa has more influence than the UN? you think that there is no comparrison with Fifa and Blatter who rules mandat after mandat, and Poutine who rules Russia why would scots complain anyway? we couldnt change nowt, on or off the pitch and it is not because we are wearing a different strip, means we are playing the same game! babychunder
Blatter's been re-elected. Has the man no shame? Ye might be surprised to know he was a PR man before joining FIFA. You'd have thought he'd be able to see what image he and his organisation project - maybe he does and doesnae give a toss as long as the money is rolling in. I think UEFA has to boycott the World Cup, and the sponsors to vote with their feet to get rid of this cant.
Abernethy Saint
Paranoid troll re-elected! Well done, Cameron, Blatter, etc.
HOODLUM65
6 Top FIFA officials arrested in Switzerland and to be extradited to Usa, wonder if Blatter is amongst them Not before time. This statement has grown arms and legs. Smarmy Arab
An investigation would be so damaging to the commercial interests of FIFA and the game in general, why do the game's dirty washing in public,.....there is no such thing as 'sporting integrity'..... maybe we should just all move on from this, and stop listening to all the 'agenda driven' the Blatter 'haters'......he has lost his job, and has surely been 'punished enough'? No? Thought not.....yer all just jealous haters!
babychunder
Smarmy, these guys have been lining their pockets for years at the expense of our great game. The money they stole belonged to football and should have been used to benefit the game, especially at youth level, and so they should now face the full might of the law. Abernethy Saint
I think you'll find they will, in a US or Swiss jail. This thing is just getting going.
nips
I wonder what the thinking is behind the length of the bans? Surely if they are guilty of what they've been accused of they should be allowed nowhere near football ever again?! babychunder
Not sure Blather will last another eight years he looked like he'd been sleeping doon the inch when he was on the news yesterday. FatWeenie should get life though in case he tries to come back.
