Suddenly I've realised I should maybe start taking better care of mine! For what it's worth I think it's a really nice shirt and I always liked it better than the one we wore during the rest of that season.

Me too, had to decide not to go for as money tight just now due to lockdown & couldn’t justify the money. Vexed that I couldn’t get one at the time. Hope Saints decide to do a 10 yr anniversary one when that time come around, I might have saved up enough by then !!

Fair enough to ask the question, but I dare say they felt that TW'S mind was made up. We all know he's a stubborn codger, and a decision that he'd obviously been thinking about for a while. I don't think Saints could've persuaded him in any way.  The debate will no doubt rumble on, and that irks me somewhat. I'd far rather look forward, and whoever gets the gig has big shoes to fill. Let's hope if future results don't go his way, there's not a chorus of "hate KR, it's her fault Tommy left". There's no proof! Remember in November,  a lot of ppl were questioning TW. I think TW felt he'd taken the club as far as he could and needed a break. I think the time was right for TW to leave. Head held high, held in highest esteem by the fans.

Fantastic that fud McCann has been sacked and Garland goes too. Bit of a shame as I hoped he’d stay on a bit longer to keep them at the bottom. Bet Tommy is raising a glass tonight.

Club confirm that Alan Mannus leaving Saints at end of season to go back to Ireland. He has been a fantastic player for us and was another of our cup heroes and played his part in our European adventures. He is a nice guy and was such a good mentor for Zander and the younger goalies. He made it clear that he wanted to go back to Ireland with his family. This decision has nothing to do with saints wanting or not to keep him. 

Excellent 'keeper for us and a real shame to see him go. Will go down as a cup winning legend and was vital in our Euro campaigns.

Mannus has been great keeper for us sorry he is going, losing Alan macca and possibly muzz and midge all winners we will struggle without all these great player's for saints and all big influence in the dressing room, really hard and big summer for saints unfortunately to replace great performancers

Sad to read the club confirming Mannus departure. Still one of the best keepers in the league.
Looking forward, however, it is a sensible move as I feel Clark really needs to be thought of as the number one in the long term and to get a long run of games to get his game to continue to improve.
You would imagine that also means Hurst will be the back up next season.
