People simply cannot afford it sometimes.
I earn a decent wage. I still live at home though, if I didn't i wouldn't be able to afford to go home & away when i can like i do now? Its not saints fault.
the cost of everything else in life has rose (we all know this) saints have made a great effort in terms of pricing for families etc.
But unless the cost of living goes down saints just aren't gonna get the crowds like years gone by.

Grew up in muirton, loved it, mum and dad still there 38 years on. Never had one bit of trouble at door until a month ago when scummy Paul Nicoll robbed them,, I would move back in a second. taught me great lessons in life. Decent people too

What a bunch of knicker-wetters. Fans come and go. Everyone is skint right now and people tend to work on weekends more than they ever had these days. Scottish football has abjectly failed to adapt to changing times and is now reaping the fruits of this. Pair that with the ridiculous prices and the fact you can't drink or stand up at the fitbaw and it's no wonder people would rather just go to the pub. Relegalising drinking at the football and introducing safe standing areas would be a good way to start. They needn't worry about poor behaviour or rioting- you'd need people to turn up first!
