Now my mate asked me the other day as he wasn’t sure. But now the silvery Tay and before that Dickens. But what was it before Dickens, was it the illicit still, if not where was illicit still?

Think it was The Central bar.

Illicit Srill, was that in Princes St.,

The Illicit (Vic)

The silvery Tay aka Dickens was definitely the central bar in the 70s

Not saying it wasn’t but considering I was born 1977 I think I was underage then (can’t even put l o l to show I’m messing with that reply.) not being sarcastic at all

We used to drink in the Clachan at dinnertime, about 1979-80, Methven Street. Worked at the big site there, Queens Barracks putting a load of houses up. Then John Moirs Bar, then the Club Bar down a back street from the Clachan. Circa 1979.
