sleepless
oh not more bloody internationals. They just get in the way. Next time can we just not bother entering and save all the hassle?
candalan
Levein is a clown and a Dundee Utd one at that. And Houston is his assistant. so D U players are bound to be wonderful. In reality they are cheating b****rds, especially Swanson!

Smarmy Arab
Dundee United players do seem to get priority these days !! odd that Nothing odd about it! Dundee United have been 3rd and 4th in each of the last two seasons, once you have selected from the OF and Herts (if you can find any Scotsmen at those clubs) you go to the next best performing team....United! Fit and on his game Swanson is a gifted player who can turn games with his quick feet and quick thinking. Right now Swanso is bossing games every week in the SPL and the question is, if not Swanson then who?....

Swansong (sorry dying swan) with his "Quick Thinking", (can find a reason to fall over an outstreached leg) and can "turn games?"

ODAB
And you've been watching a lot of Leeds matches or perhaps just reading low class papers. Swanson is only in the squad because of the Leichtenstein game. They will sit deep and not try and attack. Bannan will have a lot of expectancy of creativity on him. Swanson is very much a back-up and will not likely play. Certainly won't get anywhere near the Spain game. He has the range of passing and ability to take a player on that may be needed for a game against such a defensive team. McCormack is different type of player. ODAB
As McCormack is a striker, that's not suprising he scores more often. You're arguement should surely be he should be there ahead of Miller, Naismith, Mackail-Smith or Goodwillie. Always a good idea to think through your arguement rather than taking it from Charlie Nicholas.

Smarmy Arab
Ross McCormack, playing great fotball just now at leeds. who would you rather have? Danny Swanson, all day, every day! The only reason Swanson has not gone south (if you excuse the expression ) is his injury record. If he stays fit this season he will follow Hunt, Conway, Goodwillie, Kalvenas, Robson, Gomis, Bauben, to bigger and better things than the SPL. Probably be Bannan and Naismith that play those roles against Leichtenstein.

Ronaldo
We can still beat the Lichties with a change up front but I don't think Spain will take Scotland for granted because they've qualified because they'll play for their fans at home whereas going to the Czech Republic they might not put everything into it but still might win. IMO.
541ntees
with litchenstein missing so many players we have no excuses not to win this one lets hope spain have already donr the business by the time we take to the field. -------------Shagger-------------- Whittaker Caldwell Berra Bardsley Bannan Morrisin Adam Robson Naismith -------------Miller------------------
henryhallsdanceband
My mum (80 two days ago) saw a chap in front of her on the train from Glasgow to down south where we are. He was wearing a football shirt with Naismith on it - she wondered if he was 'the' footballer - bless :-)
SingaporeSaint
Playing a team that are #130 something in the world and no doubt we will still play with one striker up front.
