ex-montrosesaintee
NOSEBLEED Great comeback from what sounded like a dire first half. More of the Saints trademark determination over beautiful football.
PauloPerth
I'm going to give it to Zippy because he gets a hard time but gave everything for the cause. His movement was decent, his hold up play was better, he won a lot in the air and put in a great cross for the equaliser. He also stayed on his feet far more! Scougall had some great touches, and Tanser added pace and energy down the left as well as a couple of great crosses. Didn't think anyone was outstanding today, just a collective determination, and some positive tactical changes by the manager at HT. Cagey
Paton again for me. Is he shaggin you?. Not the most cultured player in the team but the effort he puts in is unbelievable. Had it not been for him we would have been blown away in first half. So reluctantly have to for him.
Havana Saint
Fine save from Mannus at 1-1. The delivery from Tanser all second half was excellent, but for a total 90 mins, Paul Paton again. Digs deep...a winner.

He's simply been a very effective and good signing imo. jhq
Stumpy1949
Gave it to pates but could have given it to Cummins for his unselfish running. Special mention Scott Tanser for his glorious left foot.
RandomGuy
MacLean for me, when he's on form we generally look a better team. Got a vital goal and linked well the whole game. Mannus for that fantastic save, Paton for being a complete force of nature and Cummins for never giving the Hamilton defence a seconds rest all came close. Cagey
Willie Collum. I thought he had a good game but didn't think it should have been a red as there was cover. PauloPerth and Stumpy1949

cristo
I agree with random too and give it to Macca for his best performance of the season. You forgot to mention Scougall, there's a very talented footballer in there, pity he didn't have a few more like minded team mates around him. Scougall played well in second half when he went into midfield. He said at his interview when he joined us that he didn't like playing on the wing. He does OK there but it was obvious today he is more effective in midfield especially as there is no one else comfortable on the ball. cristo
Dave Ferg
Paul Paton was immense but the wee Chris Millar cameo at the end wins it for me!
