StDuncM
Thinking of making the trip for the first game of the season and wondered where I could find out how much adult and kids entry to the game would be as it is only 3 hours from Sheffield. Anyone know before I contact the Doonhammers?

StDuncM
Don't suppose there is anything for an adult and 4 children under 17 from wherever you got this info? Would it be £2 more?

You could always send one through with another adult to ensure it is just £2.

Saintkev
Ill put a tenner on it that he cuts his hair before the season is done. any takers? I was telling him on the ferry that a waiter in our hotel was in the Coleraine squad and was telling us that they just couldn't handle "the guy with the hair"... told him that he needed a proper manly hair cut, like mine... so no chance he'll turn up with a number one! ex-montrosesaintee
surely we won't start with Daal up front. I've only managed to go to the Brechin game so far, but he looked really clumsy to me, and wasted so many attacking chances. Stewart looked a better prospect, and Peaso worked hard as usual. Must also say that Stanic looked even better than usual. Why the hell has nobody in the SPL made a real effort to sign him. He'd make it at left back for any team in the SPL, despite his age. Reckon we'll win by a couple on Saturday.

templeofsaints
I hate being away from home first game of the season I don't mind it if it means we're at home for the last game (trophy presentations etc)
Al C
I hate being away from home first game of the season Might hopefully work in our favour though - getting a good result down there will increase the optimism a bit ahead of Stirling game and add to the gate. Then a win against them will set us up nicely for Dundee at home where depending on how they have started we could be looking at a big crowd. SingaporeSaint
with QOS injuries and suspensions, we have never been given a better chance of having a good start. Nothing less than a 3-0 win for me.

taylorboy69
Yep, Id much rather play this lot 1st game when they have their team out suspended etc. Look what happened when we went down there towards the end of last season on a midweek..... Come on saints, lets put our 1st game of the season hoodoo to bed once and for all. For all the statto's out there, has anyone looked at our stats for the 1st game of the season for say last 15 years? be pretty dire reading id imagine? Jamie_Beatson
06/07 - St Johnstone 0-0 Clyde 05/06 - St Johnstone 4-0 Queen of the South 04/05 - Airdrie 1-0 St Johnstone 03/04 - St Johnstone 4-1 Queen of the South 02/03 - St Mirren 0-2 St Johnstone 01/02 - Celtic 3-0 St Johnstone 00/01 - Rangers 2-1 St Johnstone 99/00 - St Johnstone 1-4 Hearts 98/99 - Motherwell 1-0 St Johnstone 97/98 - St Johnstone 1-1 Dundee United 96/97 - St Johnstone 0-0 Falkirk 95/96 - St Johnstone 0-2 Dundee 94/95 - St Johnstone 1-1 Raith Rovers 93/94 - St Johnstone 1-1 Dundee United 92/93 - St Johnstone 3-0 Airdrie. So in the last fifteen years it is Played 15, Won 4, Drawn 5, Lost 6. Not the best record, although we had a massive dry spell between 93/94 and 02/03 without a single victory. Since then we've done OK!
taylorboy69
Nice one Jamie. As i thought, not the the best by us so think we need to factor that into this weekend. Anything but a defeat and I will be happy.
