blueheaven
Sad news. He was always the best pundit on Sportsound by miles - he's been sorely missed on the programme since he retired.
TheBigCheese
Yup, sad to hear this. The boy could tell an anecdote that's for sure. Am I right in thinking he won the 'Brain of Britain' at some point?
Indicator
Bob Crampsey - A man of many colours but "A Legend in Black and White" and yes he did win Brain of Britain.

St Mikey
Best Commentator. Will never be surpassed. Immense imagination and use of words typified the games brilliantly. Will be missed.

Noose76
Just saw this on the news, what a sad day for Scottish football. His voice is what I associate with when I think of football on the radio, which is alot of very fond childhood memories. RIP Bob
1884
There was very little this man didn't know about Scottish football. He was so much better on the wireless than the current crop of so-called expert pundits, a good commentator too. It was a sad day when he retired - may he rest easy in football heaven.
