ICT are right out of form just now.
Very winnable game if we play to our potential.

Thought he was OK yesterday, by this time we know the areas that he is not strong at, commanding his box and kicking - (from free play, goal kicks and from hands).  For me Zander has shown that head to head currently he is an all round better goalkeeper.  We beat Celtic with Zander in goal last season!  OK - Celtic are rather different this season.
Having said that, let's not forget the great run of form we were on with Zander between the sticks post split (save the Hearts game when Mannus returned). 
Mannus will be very much aware that there is a more than capable replacement for him.  Sadly, can't remember the last time I have left the ground thinking "Mannus was magnificent today".

We had no chance of selling plenty Saints tickets today for two main reasons - price and extremely late ticket info release date. Selling tickets for this game should have commenced weeks ago.

Very frustrating first half, especially the first 20 mins. Like other posts, also think Paton had a decent game - fantastic crossfield pass for our second. We battled at the end, but a bit naive at times. If Celtic play like that each week they will beat the likes of ICT 10-0. Foster well off the pace at the moment and his attempted tackle for their first was rather pathetic. Biggest loss today was our "Young team". Missed you lads.
Onwards comrades, all troops up the A9 next week to destroy ICT.

Fair City Unity boycotted today's match in protest at ticket prices for this game, we will be back against Hearts next month, onwards and upwards 

Some of Pates passing was excellent tbf.

We got beat by a team that monetary wise is on a different level than us.
The Young Team were missing so lack of vocal support.
Positive - stats show percentage of shots on target were higher than the Tic.
We won the second half 2-1
We will still be top six at end of season.

Cannot understand this criticism of Paul Paton who I felt had a good game and was really unlucky to get booked.
Griffiths should have a second yellow for that trip in the second half in front of the dugout.
Second week running the referee has bottled it as he did that last week at Dundee both in favour of the old firm -  suspicious or what.
With all our injuries I thought we did well and probably lucky at 4-2

Someone in our ticket office said to me if they didn't then local Celtic fans would just end up buying tickets for the Saints end.  

I do think that we need another option up front, especially as MacLean will miss games against Killie and Accies.

Good to read in today's Scotsman that Swanson says he's keen to earn a new deal at Saints.

Its just my opinion. Hes played 14 games for us, and numerous friendlies, and hasnt a single goal or assist to his name. The closest he came was away to Motherwell last season where he had a simple cross to Kane to tap in yet he overhit it. I don't want to rip into him, but hes not got the ability on the ball, or the footballing mind, to make it at this level, as hes constantly in the wrong position or making the wrong pass. 
If he hadn't gone through a good patch of form for the U20s, where hes been playing for 5 years with nobody once mentioning him as someone to watch, when wed just lost O'Halloran I doubt we'd have seen him handed such a long contract.
I can see him having a Bobby Barr-esque career, where eventually settles at a mid-table Championship side.

Didn't want to jinx it before full time... but thats 4 out of the last 5 meetings with Motherwell where we have came back from 1 down to win 2-1, Fantastic!!!

Already on catch up with Celtic so if we want to win the league we need a start winning as of now

We invited them back into it slightly at the end of first half and the whole place seemed a bit flat at the start of the second.  Great rallying from the troops and a superb all round performance.  Ando and Swanson deserve immense credit.

What a team. Went behind after dominating but hauled ourselves back in to it. Delighted for Mackay - celebrated like he won the world cup . Fantastic team effort. Swanson was exceptional. Hearts are a nasty cynical bunch and deserved all they got. Shite draw but will enjoy a few drinks tonight. COYS 

Best staring 11 possible from now on in for these cup games.  We are not good enough to try any form of rotation (as Brechin showed), especially in the defense.
Need to give ourselves the best possible chance in both cups, and with a bit of luck who knows.....

The back 4 were solid. I thought Alston, Cummins and Maclean were really poor. We only looked a threat when Swanson was involved. Ando mom for me.
