RandomGuy
He's an abysmal striker who seems to live off one good season where Eremenko was literally laying goals on a plate for him.
Perth Guy
Connor Sammon apparently available. Seems like a Tommy type of signing. I dont think he was suggesting he wanted him signed, hes suggesting he is the kind of player Tommy seems to sign. Which is quite spot on... Like folk have said, not sure he's better than what we have. Dave Ferg

Not to sound like randomguy but from the certainty of the denial going round I guess Tommy has never been interested after the way he was hung out to dry. Pat McGroin
Grahan and Swanson didn't want to leave?? We left it too late to offer Swanson a deal. Chairman dragged his heels im told
babychunder
Based on the chat I had with at the POTY night, he was never staying once he knew Hibs were in for him. We may have swithered over a counter offer, but the chairman's not at fault here. Dave Ferg
Perth Guy
We left it too late to offer Swanson a deal. Chairman dragged his heels im told Afraid you heard wrong. Danny said himself that he was surprised how good the offer was from Saints, it was more than he expected financially but like Mr Chunder has mentioned above it was the pull of playing for hibs, particularly after his personal circumstance that mattered. babychunder
Pat McGroin
Had the Chairman dealt with contract in October or November, it wouldn't have been an issue. He would have signed. It was left too late. Supposedly there was only a few hundred pounds between our offer and Hibs. Cagey

He had it easy here and wouldn't throw that away again for a few hundred quid.
RandomGuy
Swanson had been instructing his agent to contact Hibs every time hes available, he admitted as much in his interview where he said the Summer in which he moved to Hearts (when he spent the whole Summer stringing us along), hed constantly been nagging his agent about Hibs. Its naive to think he wasn't holding off for them. Interested to see if Rangers being papped out of Europe impacts on the MOH transfer. On one hand, they'll be needing extra income so will want more for him, on the other they'll be wanting expenses cut, so will just want rid. cristo
Did Graham act any worse than MOH or Swanson? This popular misconception about Graham again. He wasn't our player. He was a Dundee Utd player who we had on loan. At the end of his loan spell Ross County offered him a deal and then signed him from Dundee United. He was in no position to want to leave or otherwise. Is it not the case that Graham strung Tommy along re: signing a deal with Saints, à la Swanson/Hearts, and then signed for County without notifying? Hardly the greatest sin, but results in a fairly a bitter exit.

Tommy Wright was in the papers saying he was confident of a deal for Graham, obviously after speaking to the player. I don't think more than two hours passed until it was announced he'd signed for County. He also signed for County before the season had ended, was it not around March time?
