Luke Robinson coming back he's heading up the road at present

He's also after another attacking midfielder and striker

Wants 25 or so of squad  so a few will be leaving

Asked about Dan Phillips contract they have offered a couple of contracts but see what happens will get developments fee at worse

Other out of contract player's will be offered new contracts when saints premiership status is hopefully secured

Asked about 650 k that's already in this season's budget

Stan mentioned giving old firm three stands and I have to say agreed totally for league games only as that along would put us back in the black

Contracts are good as is the squad number.

Couldn’t disagree more with the 3 stands thing. Just need to look at the success on the pitch and financially other teams have had doing to opposite.

Only way it’s acceptable is if they charge them £50 a head and properly fleece it but it will never happen.

More financially viable to just not spend stupid money on total duds. Club barely paid a transfer fee under Tommy, no reason why it need to shell out recently on in the future

Would fully back the three stands. Needs to be done properly and communicated in an open and transparent fashion.

Talk of increasing cost of tickets for these games also make sense, surely we could run some sort of initiative for season ticket holders can bring a friend for £10 etc or similar to our own fans aren’t getting fleeced.

Issue is it won’t be communicated well and would still make us look tinpot and weak. How can you expect to grow a fan base if the club doesn’t support any growth in these games.

Look at St Mirren and Killie, similar sized clubs. If the club also got it sorted that they don’t get into the home end then would probably encourage more.

Financially it will make no difference due to a loss of income from a lot of the fan base who will be turned off not only for those games but others as well

Stan mentioned how bad the club did the old firm cup game PR and said it wouldn't happen again hopefully get some poll or something out

Mentioned how saints had a few offers for our players but nothing decent

Two people looking at the club but must make sure just not assist stripping the club as we have alot of ground etc

That was mentioned about season ticket holders having a few spare bring a friend for half price for old firm matches there looking at a few options for next season

Few random thoughts off the top of my head on the "give the OF three stands and charge them more" thing:

  • Is the Main Stand even big enough to accommodate all of our season ticket holders, plus hospitality, plus a small number of walk-ins?
  • Who's realistically going to "bring a friend" to those games? The season ticket holders themselves barely want to go (and often don't), let alone asking us to find extra people to bring with us.
  • Has the club tried properly investigating why it is that home fans don't want to come to these games, and doing something about it?
  • How do you charge OF fans more than home fans, when the home fans will be in the stand with the best view? Surely thats against the rules? Did we not already fall foul of that in the Flaherty era?
  • I'm amazed that any football fans would be on board with ripping off other football fans. Is that really a route we want to start going down? The price of tickets is already part of the reason for shrinking attendances.

I don't think "having the best view" for home fans would be against Any rules.

Having the best view for home fans isn't against the rules, but charging higher ticket prices for an equivalent or inferior view certainly is. Saints have been caught out with trying to do that once already.
