St Mikey
Pretty much sure this game will also be off. Forfar's undersoil heating is as much use as Falkirks.

Kilgour
There is no chance of this game going ahead as planned. The forecast is for sub-zero temps for at least ten days. At least we know and can plan accordingly.
The ghost of Jim Morton
It would not surprise me if it was Feburary before this one gets played. Kilgour is correct and in fact, the long term forecast has sub-zero temps with us for the whole of the month and possibly beyond.. I actually fear for our home game against Aberdeen on the 16th unless they start clearing the car park in the next couple of days.. The snow aint moving on it's own and there is every chance it will be topped up before the Dons game.. And they best get the USH on NOW.. Wouldnae want to look like amateurs would we:laugh:
1884
Isn't it the case that the USH has to be switched on in advance of the ground freezing? I fear for the Aberdeen game if the USH is not already on at the moment...

Kilgour is correct and in fact, the long term forecast has sub-zero temps with us for the whole of the month and possibly beyond.. That's what I reckon as well. Even if the game is rescheduled for January 20, there's a high chance it won't be ready by then. By that stage we will have three matches to play catch up on. Round five of the cup is scheduled for February 6. We do not have a free midweek between January 20 and February 6. So if we don't get the Forfar game played by January 20, and assuming we go through, we'd have four games to catch up on!
O'Rourke
Depending upon how results go between now and then, if we are facing a jam of games I would play a "reserve" side.
henry hall
Depending upon how results go between now and then, if we are facing a jam of games I would play a "reserve" side. Our reserve side including about 5 U19s drew 2-2 in the forfarshire cup with them and shouldve hammered them. They had a full team out too
HertsSaintee
Depending upon how results go between now and then, if we are facing a jam of games I would play a "reserve" side. I totally agree, but as the FA have done in England, the SFA would then probably come down and hammer us for a fine for "unsporting behaviour" or something equally ludicrous. Maybe better retract that e-mail to Doncaster.
