Jamie_Beatson
It's overnight tonight we have to worry about by the looks of things. Really hope it escapes the worst of it - really looking forward to this game now!

mad saints fan
Brechin saying the pitch is heavy but it wont be until tomorrow that they'll know if a pitch inspection is required.
Edstar101
What we don't need is a game that can be badly affected by the weather...heavy pitch, strong wind etc etc.....increases the chances of an upset
Invernessaint
I am a bit concerned that the game will be called off to stop 2500 Saints travelling in poor conditions. Brechin itself now looks as if it will miss the snow.

Over the Road
Terracing not being opened until "there is a resonable number of people in the stand" http://www.perthstjohnstonefc.co.uk/newsitemsdetail.php?param=1337
The ghost of Jim Morton
Terracing not being opened until "there is a resonable number of people in the stand" http://www.perthstjohnstonefc.co.uk/newsitemsdetail.php?param=1337 How stupid is that?? if yopu go in early, you just take a seast till they open the terrace anfd then you stroll down ?? Or am i missing something??

Over the Road
Don't think so, just seemed strange as I've never seen that done before.
Honest Saints Fan
Probably more to do with safety as obviously the terracing will not fit every fan it... I imagine that is their reasoning behind this.
Wish i was Joe McGurn
Have saints offered any pitch protection ??
Dylan-Saints
It says on the official site that the saints fans will initially be led to the trinity road stand does that mean if you want to stand at the hedge you will have to wait until the stand is full? ancientsaint
Have saints offered any pitch protection ?? Hope its not gonna be a "game off" scenario --Particulary now that so many Buses - Trains -Cars and other modes of transport have been arranged...Bloody shame if it becomes a mid-week game. Hopefully the sun will shine all day and there are numerous supplies of liquids in the inns and hostelries around the Angus area.
208saint
Have saints offered any pitch protection ?? Aye we've told them that they can't have our ground staff so their pitch should be ok

ancientsaint
says yer no allowed sticks and canes for flags - tossers.but at least celery is no banned -yet.dont forget yer celery. Please note that St Johnstone supporters will not be admitted to the standing area between the Trinity Road Stand and the Main Stand – this area will be cordoned off for Brechin’s guests and other officials. Supporters will not be admitted to the ground with flags on canes or sticks. Tayside Police Anti-Celery squad in connection with the Beechgrove gardening club will be stopping Buses/Cars and Trains and searching supporters for "sticks" or other modes of Celery. Offenders will be prosecuted and Celery Banning orders issued (CBO's).
